We are honored to be able to contract with two of the leading Face Painters in South Africa at Fern Gully:

Penny Foyn Bryanston. Penny learnt professional face painting in France and was a finalist in an international competition. Penny was instrumental in introducing professional Face Painting to South Africa and establishing a Code of Ethics of Face Painters to keep your children safe and healthy. Book Penny early, as she is one of the best in the country and often booked weeks in advance.

Surina Botha from Creative Faces. Master of Faces and together with Penny amongst the finest Face Painters in South Africa; her Art is absolutely exquisite, book her early to avoid disappointment.

Carmen M. Schnider-Kemp, Midrand. Carmen does only up to 20 kids max. Carmen does face painting as a hobby and will only fill in if the previous two artists are not available or for bookings at short notice.

Many venue's offer face painter's per hour and allow bookings for 1 1/2 hours. A professional face painter will not paint more than 10, max. 15 kids per hour. The more children you have at the party, the simpler the designs. If children choose Spiderman's, Lion's etc. it takes longer to paint as the base color needs to be completely dry before one can paint on top to avoid whites taking on the base color.
